OK, no scare tactics here, but modern buildings and materials have some nasty stuff in them. We are constantly educating ourselves about those risks. Our chemically sensitive clients hire us because we:
- Work Clean: The project site is kept clean and isolated from the rest of the home to prevent contamination by pre-existing hazardous substances like lead, asbestos, mold, or formaldehyde.
- Minimize Toxins: Building products are chosen based on low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content. Where a "clean" alternative is not available we, let products do their initial-phase, high-output off-gassing at our shop before bringing them into your home.
- Provide Fresh, Clean Air: Homes are evaluated for ventilation strategies that will ensure indoor air quality.
