Kenji Wright never suspected he'd be putting his in degree in environmental science to work doing carpentry. After graduating from Willamette University, he spent two years in the Peace Corps teaching permaculture in Panama. Back in the States, he hired on to build a straw bale house in northern Idaho. Love of working with his hands kept him in the building trades framing houses. Joining Green Remodeling in 2006 gave Kenji a chance to marry his love of craftsmanship with his respect for the natural world. When not at work, you'll find Kenji stalking a wily brown trout on the South Fork of the Boise or volunteering with BUGS, Boise Urban Garden School.
